Gama Healthcare – Clinell Wipes
Gama Healthcare is a dynamic, innovative company at the forefront of infection prevention technology. They specialise in the manufacture and distribution of Infection Prevention and Control products. They are headquartered in the United Kingdom, with a subsidiary in Melbourne, Australia.
Previously Gama Healthcare only sold their Infection Prevention products direct to hospitals – with no consumer-facing brands. However, Gama Healthcare identified a gap in the market for infection prevention products to commence being marketed to consumers.
Gama Healthcare engaged Davidson Branding to assist them with creating a first phase national media campaign with a focus on Out of Home, to help drive sales of Clinell Universal wipes in Chemist Warehouse and Priceline across Australia. The target audience was females aged 25+, concerned about COVID and cleanliness in their home, and regularly purchase a larger quantity of items at their local chemist. The strategic task was to introduce Clinell Universal Wipes as a new brand to shoppers and consider trial of product
The media strategy focussed on large retail screens together with street furniture screens were primarily used in and around state-based shopping centres. The screens were all guaranteed to be in close proximity to stockists. The strategy was to position Clinell top of mind in the last moment of influence. (Media agency partner – Hatched Media). The campaign was in market for 2 Months across NSW/VIC/QLD – Large format OOH.
